Course description:

A well-grounded understanding of the language and structure of finance is crucial, whether students are a manager in a corporation, a corporate employee wanting to know more about how such institutions are run, or an individual wanting to make better investment decisions. The modules in this programme are designed to provide a sophisticated body of knowledge that is applicable to almost anyone's life in today's world. By integrating critical strategies and techniques with the principles of financial administration, the EIA MBA in Finance degree specialization will prepare students for financial challenges in both the national and international arena. MBA finance degrees increase earning potential in fields such as investment banking, mutual funds, bonds, and accounting.

Entry requirements:

An acceptable bachelor degree or a relevant professional qualification conducted at a standard equivalent to a bachelor's degree; and Access to a workplace or projects which could be the basis of their financial assignments and project. Adequate proficiency in English, for example IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 550 or English was the language of instruction during highest qualification. If students do not meet the mentioned English requirements, they are required to pass the EIA qualifying test. Applicants not having an acceptable bachelor degree or equivalent do have a pathway to the MBA on a stage-by-stage basis if they successfully complete the 4-module Graduate Certificate in Finance, followed by the 4-module Graduate Diploma in Finance and finally the 4-module MBA stage of the course. They may enroll in the Graduate Certificate in Finance course provided they have: Completed a qualification deemed equivalent to an Advanced Diploma under the Australian Qualifications Framework or are able to demonstrate that they have equivalent experience and learning (for example, in the form of ranking or seniority in their organisation) or have specialised professional or technical qualifications or such other qualifications as are deemed acceptable to EIA; At least five years' managerial work experience; Access to a workplace or projects which could be the basis of their assignments and project.

Complete the application for the programme applied for and send to ACPE with: 3 recent passport size photographs, Local bank draft for application fee, 1 original copy of completed and duly signed Application Form, EIA Application Form (English version to be completed), EIA Application Form (Vietnamese version for reference only), Photocopies of English Language Test/ IELTS/ TOEFL results (if applicablePhotocopy of birth certificate (if not English, properly translated and certified/ notarised), Photocopies of highest educational certificates and transcripts (if not English, properly translated and certified), Any other supporting documents which may facilitate the application (e.g. Curriculum Vitae, appointment letters, referrals, and work testimonials; if not in English, properly translated and certified/ notarised).
