Course description:
This course enable participants to acquire sufficient breadth of knowledge, deeper insights and greater understanding of the interdisciplinary areas of managing human resources productively in an organization and to understand the labor legislation and industrial relation in Singapore. It also provides participants a structured training for personal and career development. The course provide participants an endorsement of their competence in attaining both academic and practical understanding of the various human resource management techniques, motivation and skill for managing and developing people as a value-added asset.
Entry requirements:
Students must have a degree or diploma from a recognized university or institution with preferably two years of working experience. Students who enroll and attend only certain modules for the acquisition of knowledge are not required to meet the above minimum entry requirements

Students must submit a completed application form that can be obtained from MDIS website or at any of the centers along with the non refundable registration fee. In addition they should also submit certified-true copies of all education certificates and transcripts. International students should make the accommodation arrangement before they leave the homeland. There is a wide variety of accommodation options in Singapore and the type of accommodation you choose will depend on your personal budget. International students can approach MDIS for assistance on the accommodation arrangement. The Institute plan to develop the hostel within the premises and this project is part of the overall development plan to create a self-contained integrated campus for the international students. The new hostel will have 782 rooms and up to 14 suites, a 495-seat lecture theatre and an 11-stall cafeteria with a seating capacity of up to 600. The integrated hostel will be ready by 2010.
