Course description:

In this programme students are encouraged to master special techniques such as enameling, repousse and casting. They will also work with various metals, gems and hybrid media, such as fabrics, resins and polymer clay in the exploration of material expression. This studio-based programme promotes research, experimentation, analysis, evaluation, critique and allows students to gradually develop their own personal philosophy and expression through the course of their study. Students will graduate as independent artists and craftsman in jewellery or as jewellery designers.

Entry requirements:

Students are required to pass in the admission test/audition. They should have four or more GCE ‘O’ Level credits (A1 - C6) or equivalent excluding English. Students are required to have obtained a grade of C6 or above in the GCE O-level English paper. Students with Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Nitec qualification in any discipline with GPA 2.5 and above may apply.
