Course description:
This course aims to produce high quality graduates possessing knowledge and skills to enable entry into selected areas of biochemical, biological, veterinary, para-medical and related sciences. Students are introduced to biomedical and chemical science concepts and principles with further study in areas such as microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology and biotechnology, analytical science, pharmacology and toxicology. Graduates have the expertise to enter a wide range of biomedical relevant employment fields. Employment opportunities exist in industrial science, the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries, hospitals, biomedical research, food industry, microbiological and medical diagnostics, agricultural industries, life sciences instrumentation industries, forensic science and government authorities.
Entry requirements:
Students must have completed an approved diploma or advanced diploma in the life sciences discipline from polytechnics or recognized institutions in Singapore.
Application details:
Applicants must pay a non refundable application fee of SGD300 (full-time), SGD 100 (part-time) either by cash, local Singapore cheques (drawn on a bank in Singapore) or telegraphic transfer to the Melior Business School Pte Ltd. In addition to these, they must submit three passport-sized photos, RIC (copy of front and reel), GCE 'O' level certificate and 'A' level certificate (if any), other tertiary education graduation certificate and transcripts. One original copy of completed and duly signed application form along with the supporting documents must be sent to Melior Business School, Melior City Campus, 133 New Bridge Road, #03-44 to 49, Chinatown Point, Singapore 059413.
