Course description:

This course objective is to provide participants with basic knowledge and skills through hands-on using computer-aided software to create two-dimensional engineering drawings with new features in AutoCAD 2009. This course is suitable for students, workers, company administrators, sales or technical professionals (technician, draftsmen, engineers and designers) who may need to draw or edit company engineering drawings. Also for those who wish to pick up the skills of AutoCAD. This course is conducted by the Design Technology Center, an authorized Auto desk Training Center. Autodesk Certificate and Certificate of Achievement will be awarded to participants who meet the course requirement. Participants will receive the Autodesk Certificate electronically by email.

Application details:

Students will be able to register for class approximately two months before each intake. They can choose to sign up in a few ways: postal and internet registration or walk-in registration. Students can post the application form together with the cheque payment to the following address: Industry Training Programme Dept, ITE Headquarters, 10 Dover Drive, Singapore 138683; or they can register through the internet by using the online form. Postal and internet applications must be accompanied or followed-up by cheque payment for confirmation of place. Students must cross cheque and pay to Institute of Technical Education. At the back of the cheque, they should write applicant’s name, NRIC/FIN, course title, contact number and email address. Students can also register at customer service centers, in person or through an authorized person during the registration period. They must bring along all relevant documents, including NRIC, work pass or dependant's pass; and the total fees (cheque, cash, credit card or NETS accepted). Customer Service Centers are located at ITE Headquarters, 10 Dover Drive, Singapore 138683; and ITE College West (Ang Mo Kio Campus), 4300 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5, Singapore 569869.
