Course description:
This course is geared towards serving the needs of the biomedical and pharmaceutical industry in the fields of research and marketing. Students gain knowledge about the pharmacological properties of drugs as well as the physiological basis for these. Another major thrust of the Advanced Diploma is to provide the society and industry with biomedical practitioners who are well-rounded. Graduates of the program are expected to understand the business aspects of biomedical sciences, the commercialization procedures as well as the business decisions being made.
Entry requirements:
Students must have completed three GCE ‘O’ level passes, including a pass in English, Biology and Chemistry or equivalent for foreign qualifications. They must have ‘A’ level pass with either partial or full credits and N level candidates must have completed ITE courses.
Application details:
Students should submit the completed application along with a non refundable application fee or S$200. The fee must be paid either by Singapore cheque or local bank draft to the REC College Pte Ltd. In addition to these, they need to submit the following documents: copies of educational certificates and transcripts (original language and English translated); two passport sized photographs, copy of identity card or passport and updated resume if applicant has working experience for more than one year.
